Peak Already?!!!
Rutland had their leaf peeper fly in yesterday, 10/4. We debarked headed that way, but the ceiling was about 4500' and we needed to get above that in order to clear some areas in the White Mountains, so the flight in that direction was a no go. Despite a forecast of Sunny and clear, it was mostly cloudy. Where the sun did shine through though, you could see that our region is just about at peak color. Seems a little early but it's still beautiful. We made it as far as Laconia again, then looped back home. Promise seemed a little concerned about the landing, but he did well again. Ready for Halloween?
